Dave Odams
Brass
Dave grew up in Mansfield, England and was an active member of the regional concert band and brass band scene. He spent the first 15 years of his professional career in London playing with a multitude of bands and orchestras before moving to Sydney in 2011. As well as being a full-time instrumental teacher, conductor and father of 2 young children, he also manages to find time to manage his own band (Blue Tongue Brass Band) and arrange music for concert band and smaller ensembles.
Deb Muir
Woodwind & Piano
As a trained musician with a degree and a wealth of professional playing experience Deb brings a unique blend of musical knowledge with a thorough understanding of the needs of children in the learning environment. The combination of her formal education blends nicely with the experience that Deborah brings from being a mother to 3 children.
Andrew Hamblin
Brass
Andrew is an active teacher/conductor in the Northern Suburbs area and has achieved formal qualifications at university level having studied a Bachelor of Music (Performance). When Andrew is not working as a full-time instrumental teacher/conductor you can find him playing lead trumpet in the Blue Riff Big Band or as a freelance trumpet player for various musical societies across Sydney.
Tim Hamblin
Drums & Percussion
Tim is a full-time drum/percussion teacher and freelance musician based in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney. He has completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) and seeks to bring together his studies, diverse playing experience and his love of all things percussive to inspire excellence and a love of music in his students. When Tim is not teaching you can find him supporting local artists or setting toes tapping at various functions/events all over Sydney.
